Q: How should I prepare for the massage?

A: Have a shower prior to my arrival and remove all jewelry (small studs and hoops are fine). If you have long hair, please have it tied up in a bun or ponytail. Ensure that you have a space cleared for the massage table. Preferably near an outlet if you want the table warmer on.

Q: Do I need to remove all of my clothes?

A: Ultimately, its up to you. I want my clients to feel as comfortable as possible. However, removing your clothing would allow for better access of both the affected and unaffected muscles.

Q: Which type of oil do you use?

A: I actually don't use during my treatments. Instead, I use a water soluble massage gel. It's non-irritating and allows for a smoother glide. Ideal for those with sensitive skin like myself.

Q: What is Swedish massage?

A: Swedish massage is just massage involving light to moderate pressure. The techniques typically used during sessions are "broad contact". In other words, it's mostly just open palms rather than forearms and elbows which would allow for deeper manipulation of the muscles. Swedish massage is more ideal for someone just looking to relax rather than reducing any muscle tension.
